Orlando Elementary School Tutoring
We have provided Orlando with wonderful elementary school tutors for almost ten years. Our pre-K through 5th grade tutors are certified teachers already working in Orange County, Seminole County, and surrounding school systems. They are adept at helping kids pass the new Florida Standards Assessment and meet Sunshine State Standards.
Our tutors can come to your home afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Some are free during the day for those of you in need of a homeschool tutor. They are scattered throughout Orlando and surrounding areas, including Windermere, Winter Park, Ocoee, Oviedo, Lake Mary, and all of Orange and Seminole counties.

Whether you are concerned about your child passing the FSA, or you feel she is falling behind in math, a private tutor can help. Our students often just need personal attention from a compassionate, trained educator who will help them learn from different perspectives.
Elementary School Homework Coaches
Is your elementary school kid drowning in homework? We hear you. One recent study found that some students are getting three times more homework than is recommended by education leaders. Not only does this mean more stress for them, but it also puts pressure on you to go over homework every night.
In-Home Tutors of Orlando’s homework coaches meet with kids twice or more each week to teach them healthy homework habits. They work with students’ teachers and counselors to make sure expectations are very clear. And they help kids develop executive function skills, such as organization and time management, that will stay with them a lifetime. Our homework coaches are very popular among students who struggle with ADHD and other related disorders.
Florida Standards Assessment Tutoring
If you have a child in elementary school, you probably already know that the Florida Standards Assessment replaced the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test in 2015. This more difficult test can determine whether your child is held back a grade, and has impacted many Orlando families. In fact, nearly 16,000 Florida third graders were held back in 2015.
In-Home Tutors of Orlando has specially trained elementary school tutors available with up-to-date study materials for the FSA. They can assess your child and help them with practice materials that will give them a better chance of passing the test.
Sessions cover reading, writing, and mathematics. Tutors will assess students using practice tests. Then, they’ll draw on materials online and from your child’s classroom to help them with their weaker subjects.
