Homework Coach

A homework coach can keep your child on top of all school work

Tutoring for students With ADHD throughout Orlando

There is such a high demand for specialized tutoring for kids with ADHD that we’ve started a separate service, HomeworkCoach. You can head over to that website, if you wish, or stay with In-Home Tutors Orlando. It’s the same company!

Students with executive functioning difficulties or ADHD are usually bright, but their grades suffer because  they struggle with organizing their work and meeting deadlines. They may finish their assignments but fail to submit them or put off studying until it’s too late to do well.

In other words, your child doesn’t need a subject-specific tutor, they need a homework coach!

Our coaches are hands-on: they will assist the student with completing homework and staying up to date with schoolwork. But at the same time, the coach is always focused on improving the student’s study habits and executive function skills.

“In-Home Tutors matched our teenage son with two skilled, engaging–and caring–tutors during his formative middle school and high school years. The result: he stayed on track thanks to a perfect blend of study skill-building, coaching and loving encouragement. He’s now on his way to college having earned an academic and talent scholarship.”

Trained Coaches

Our coaches come from a range of backgrounds. They are often young college graduates who can relate to your student and provide strategies and motivation that your child will respond to.  (Everyone knows children will not listen to their parents!)
